INTRODUCTION

Labour costs are the largest portion of the operating budget in most organisations – which means total rewards professionals influence bottom line results in an important way. It's essential for today’s compensation professionals to have a keen understanding of business drivers and an appreciation of the financial realities of their organisations, enabling them to deliver effective and efficient rewards programmes.

In this course, you will gain the finance and accounting skills you need to optimise your organisation’s investment in compensation and other total rewards.

The curriculum includes both Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) accounting standards and navigating the intersection between rewards and finance.

FORMAT

  • Live-streamed course (Zoom) with a small number of participants in a virtual classroom style.
  • This is an interactive programme so that you will be able to consider the issues discussed in the context of your organisation and your experience.
  • Slides, discussion and very short exercises will be used.
