INTRODUCTION

To remain agile in today’s workplace, you must formulate a total rewards strategy that meets the goals of your organisation and the needs of your employees. In this course, you will be introduced to WorldatWork’s total rewards model and learn how to use it to align your strategy to your organisation’s main drivers, resulting in a total rewards programme that helps recruit, engage and retain top talent.

FORMAT

  • Delivered by an experienced instructor.
  • Live-streamed course (Zoom) with a small number of participants in a virtual classroom style.
  • This is an interactive programme so that you will be able to consider the issues discussed in the context of your organisation and your experience.
  • Slides, discussion and very short exercises will be used.

  • The tools needed to formulate a high-performing total rewards programme, including understanding the critical role of organisational culture, business strategy and HR strategy.

  • An introduction to communicating the value of a total rewards package.

  • This course is ideal for HR and total rewards professionals responsible for ensuring that compensation programmes are strategically positioned and aligned with total rewards strategies in their organisation.
  • Entry- to mid-level HR and reward professionals interested in understanding compensation programmes.
  • If you have several years of experience in reward, you will find this course gives you a valuable review of standard practice and theory, along with an update on current trends in compensation.

ENTRY CRITERIA

We recommend taking Creating Impact Through Total Rewards as the first course toward your CCP and/or GRP certification.

LENGTH OF STUDY

The course requires additional work outside of standard class time. You should plan to spend approximately nine hours in a virtual class and five hours on self-guided work. Some prework is required in preparation for the first day of class.

ASSESSMENTS

You must pass the required certification exam (online) accompanying this course to acquire your certification. A practice test is provided within the course materials to test your readiness and help identify knowledge gaps where you might need additional study.

Each delegate ticket includes:

  • Free WorldatWork membership.
  • PDF course book downloaded from WorldatWork learner dashboard.
  • Attendance for duration of two-day virtual course on Zoom, 9am-1.30pm (UK).
  • One-to-one personal tutorial with instructor (to be hosted after virtual course).
  • Online WorldatWork exam (80 multiple choice questions) to be taken at the time that works best for you. Please note exams must be taken within 120 days.

Please note: For Login email, do make sure to use email that was submitted to E-reward/WorldatWork when you booked your class, even if it is a work email.

ACCESSING YOUR COURSE MATERIALS ON THE WORLDATWORK LEARNER DASBOARD

1. To access your Learner Dashboard please go to www.worldatwork.org and click on Login in the upper right.

2. Once you have logged in, click on the icon in the upper right that looks like a person and click My Profile.

3. Once you have accessed your WorldatWork profile page with your details, scroll right down until you get to the section Courses & Exams.

4. Click on Access Purchased Courses.

5. You will then be redirected to your Learner Dashboard (on Canvas) where you can access to your course materials.
