Apply the power of data to boost positive business outcomes

INTRODUCTION

HR professionals and compensation managers are under increasing pressure to provide evidence-based solutions. As data aggregation technologies and access improve, leadership and employees expect greater accuracy and precision in compensation decisions. However, navigating KPIs, formulas and success metrics in compensation can be complex and challenging.

This course empowers you to master compensation analytics, enabling you to analyse KPIs, set pay rates, develop salary ranges, assess fairness, and ensure compliance using data-driven strategies.

It covers everything from gathering, collecting, and analysing data to making sound compensation and rewards decisions.

You will master how to use data analysis to craft a compelling narrative that you can share with others in your organisation.

FORMAT

  • Delivered by an experienced instructor.
  • Live-streamed course (Zoom) with a small number of participants in a virtual classroom style.
  • This is an interactive programme so that you will be able to consider the issues discussed in the context of your organisation and your experience.
  • Slides, discussion and very short exercises will be used.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • How to apply evidence-based decision-making in compensation practice and analytics.
  • How to hone decision-making with statistical measures and modelling such as variability, shapes of distributions and regression analysis.
  • Tips for identifying distorted data and recognising the common mistakes that cause it.
  • Techniques for sharing data, including the best ways to organise and visualise it.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

  • This course is ideal for professionals in HR, total rewards, compensation, or global rewards.
  • It is especially useful to those who are responsible for compensation programme design and measurement, as well as anyone interested in an evidence-based approach to evaluate and impact labour costs.
