Towers Watson launches new iPad app

Towers Watson, a global professional services company, has announced the launch of TWGlobal50, a searchable free app for the iPad. It is designed to provide human resource and benefit professionals with instant access to “critical human capital data from around the globe”.

The TWGlobal50 app provides “dynamic, searchable human capital data” for 57 countries. Using a touch-based interface, users can access and compare current and trend information in four major categories, including:

  • planned pay increases

  • employee engagement levels

  • talent mobility rates

  • health care benefit costs.

The app is designed so that users are able to take a screen shot and instantly email it to colleagues. Additionally, users can follow various links in the app to obtain more information on each of the four categories.

Towers Watson says it expects to update and expand the application as clients begin to use it and the firm identifies other potential ways to provide data at the touch of a finger.
