Sources of data on basic pay settlements

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development has recently updated one of its factsheets examining the main sources of pay settlement data.

The guide reviews the pay settlement data  published by four organisations in the UK:

• EEF manufacturers’ organisation

• Incomes Data Services (IDS)

• Industrial Relations Services (IRS)

• Labour Research Department (LRD).
  

The main features of the various databases are set out in turn.
