Selecting corporate gifts
Selecting corporate gifts can cause countless headaches for HR and reward professionals trying to introduce and administer international reward programmes with minimal time, effort and expense. A recent issue of Personnel Today magazine reckons the simple solution is to allow employees to choose their own gifts.
The report's author, Jonathan Haskell, outlines three main gift selection options:
"Each system has its benefits and pitfalls, which must be considered bearing the different international gift preferences in mind," says Haskell, who is managing director of LongService.com, an online incentive, reward and motivation supplier.
