New survey of reward and HR salaries
Base salaries for heads of reward in financial services now range between £71,000 and £110,000 in London and the South East, according to the latest annual survey of reward and HR salaries by Frazer Jones.

Example base salaries
Reward administrator: salaries range from £20,000 to £30,000 in financial services in London and the South East, with an average bonus of £4,000.
Reward officer: salaries range from £26,000 to £32,000 in professional and business services in the Midlands, with an average bonus of £2,000.
Reward manager: salaries range from £45,000 to £62,000 in IT, media and telecoms in north-west England, with an average bonus of £6,000.
Head of reward: salaries range from £60,000 to £65,000 in the public sector in London and the South East, with an average bonus of £5,000.

Survey details: The survey has been produced using data collected from responses to a questionnaire sent to HR professionals in the first quarter of 2008 and from recruitment assignments handled by Frazer Jones within the same period. More than 900 responses were received.
