New IRS case study of move towards broader bands at RoMEC
The Post Offices facilities service division has embarked on a change programme, replete with a more flexible pay structure for its managerial grades, including broader bands, performance-based pay reviews and a competency framework, according to a recent edition of Pay and Benefits Bulletin, published by Industrial Relations Services.
The five-page IRS report examines the following issues:
business reasons driving the change process
implementation programme
design of the new pay structure and competency framework
changes to the pay review process
lessons learned.
