New equality helpline launched
A new equal opportunities helpline offering small businesses practical advice and guidance on the law and good practice has been unveiled by the Department for Education and Employment.
The service offers a one-stop shop for advice on all aspects of equality law — whether sex, race and disability — from experts trained and supported by city law firm DLA.
A supporting web site provides general advice on some of the main topics provided by the telephone advice service.
