Nationwide conducts its first equal pay review

With three-quarters of its 15,000-strong workforce being female, Nationwide was aware that equal pay would be of prime importance to most of its staff. The building society concluded its first equal pay audit in May 2002 and it has made a commitment to audit for pay inequalities on an annual basis, according to a case study published by Incomes Data Services.
