EXECUTIVE PAY NAPF launches assessment kit for voting on board remuneration The National Association of Pension Funds has published an assessment kit designed to help institutional investors in reaching voting recommendations on executive incentive schemes. This 15-page document offers guidance on the principles that should be adopted when devising incentive reward schemes for executives. A series of checklists set out the details companies will need to provide to comply with minimum disclose requirements and the supplementary material that institutional investors are likely to seek. A final word A high score on the assessment kit would be likely to result in the recommendation of a vote in favour of the relevant general meeting resolution and the probability of support from institutional shareholders. — National Association of Pension Funds.
