A new online platform to help HR teams and line managers support new and expectant parents at work has been launched by My Family Care. The parental leave toolkit builds each user a tailored plan enabling and encouraging those about to take parental leave to have more effective conversations about issues such as work-life balance, career progression, working arrangements and wellbeing.
The toolkit is hosted online and offers a combination of coaching tools, tips and advice on parental leave all in one place and at a very low cost per head for large employee populations. IBM is already using the consultant’s parental coaching sessions and webinars and Deborah Richards, diversity and inclusion leader at IBM, says:
