London procurement professionals set for 8% salary growth – Robert Walters

Procurement professionals based in London are predicted to receive 8% salary increases this year, according to data from Robert Walters. In its latest salary survey, the recruiter says that IT professionals specialising in cyber security will also receive inflation-busting increases of 7%.

Demand for professionals in the capital has remained steady, despite the uncertainty surrounding the general election last year and Brexit, with the result that employers are increasing the salaries offered for specialists with in-demand skills, Robert Walters says. Demand for procurement professionals has increased as employers prepare to develop new supply chains once Britain develops trading relationships outside the European Union.
