John Lewis announces bonus payouts worth 15% of salary
More than 70,000 “partners” employed by John Lewis in its department stores and Waitrose supermarket chain are set to share bonus payments worth £151.3 million. This year's bonus figure is 15% - equivalent to nearly eight weeks' salary for employees.
The annual bonus distributes a proportion of profits equally to partners, from postroom to the chairman, as a percentage of salary.
