IT salary averages £37,010 – Computer Weekly/TechTarget
The average annual salary for all IT staff is £37,010 with a bonus worth 8% of basic pay, according to the latest salary survey from Computer Weekly/TechTarget.
- As expected, senior IT managers receive the highest salaries with an average annual income of £112,200. Almost 20% of this total is made up of bonuses.
- 40% of IT staff earning more than £100,000 receive a bonus of at least 20% of their basic pay.
- Almost a quarter of people with annual earnings between £35,000 and £49,000 said they received a bonus of 20% or more on top of basic salary.
