The Greater London Magistrates' Courts Authority has introduced a new performance management process, which focuses on strategic behavioural competencies as well as personal objectives. A new case study by the IRS journal Competency & Emotional Intelligence looks at the how the system works.

This four-page report, written by Cyrus Cooper, senior learning and development consultant at the GLMCA, focuses on the development of the "how" factors and how they were "embedded" in the performance management system.
