Guidance on using HR and payroll software to support equal pay reviews

The Equal Opportunities Commission has published a brief guidance note examining how human resource and payroll software fit into the equal pay review process.

The EOC concludes: "The payroll and human resource systems used by most medium to large organisations are capable of supporting an equal pay review if the data and reporting tools required are specified by the user organisation at the outset. Employers can therefore fully specify the data and reporting required for an equal pay review when they first set up or alter their payroll and human resource systems."
