Members of a representative body for family businesses, Family Business United, have access to a new financial education service following a tie up with Close Brothers Asset Management. Members will have access to Close Brother’s Money Talks platform, which provides a range of financial education, from inheritance and retirement planning to investments and tax.
Jeanette Makings, Head of Financial Education at Close Brothers, said:
‘It’s crucial that both owners and employees of family firms have the right financial education to understand their options when it comes to planning for their future. With ongoing changes to pensions and tax, increased longevity and the growing prevalence of defined contribution pensions, there is a greater need than ever before for financial education and access to advice.’
