Eversheds launches new mobile application for HR professionals

International law firm Eversheds has launched a global, interactive employment law guide available via a downloadable application (app). The app is available for use on iPhones, BlackBerrys and via the internet on regular desktops or laptops.

The app provides answers to commonly asked questions on employment law issues, covering over 25 countries - including France, Germany, Italy, Hong Kong, the USA and the UK - and four continents.

The app offers information in a “Question and Answer” format on issues surrounding the life-cycle of an employment contract, from engaging an employee and the employment contract itself, right through to termination of a contract.

The app also includes information on:

  • Key employment terms and conditions, minimum wage, probationary period, holiday entitlement and working time.

  • Family friendly rights, maternity, paternity, and adoption leave and pay, flexible work and time off for dependants.

  • Atypical employment contracts. part-time contracts, fixed-term contracts and zero-hours contracts.
