Delivering modern performance management – Willis Towers Watson

The current state of performance management is quite traditional and time-consuming, offering an uncertain return on investment, according to Willis Towers Watson. Performance management continues to receive low marks from both employees and employers, according to recent research from the firm.

However, there is some good news. For example, employers that manage to ensure a positive performance management experience are more likely to have employees who are highly engaged; over half of employees who indicate that their performance was accurately evaluated in their last review are highly engaged. But to ensure this impact, employers need to focus on increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of performance management practices, Willis Towers Watson adds.
