Busy Bees Benefits is expanding in to the health and financial wellbeing products market by partnering with Westfield Health to offer a range of health and wellbeing plans to SMEs. The Everyday Day Health Plan is a health cash plan which will allow employees to claim back money, up to set limits, to pay for essential healthcare such as dental appointments, eye tests and diagnostic procedures.
A separate Hospital Treatment Plan will allow employees to receive a package of private medical treatment following a consultant referral – with no ‘preferred provider’ so that users can seek treatment at any hospital they choose.
Wojciech Dochan, managing director of Busy Bees Benefits said:
‘There is no excess to pay when a claim is made and premiums are community-rated so everyone pays the same price regardless of age of location. No medical is required and a cash benefit is available if an employee receives NHS treatment . . . The purpose of the product is to provide employees with fast access to hospital treatment after their condition has been diagnosed by an NHS-funded consultant.’
