Human capital company, Beyond360, has launched an employee engagement portal in the UK. The portal uses social collaboration engagement software, big data analytics, and artificial emotional intelligence to actively track and improve employee engagement. According to the company, this enables client users to gather real time data to ‘build an “engagement DNA” profile of every employee, their behaviours, traits and development needs’.
As part of its research prior to launching the portal, Beyond360 commissioned research into engagement, which shows that 58% of employees feel they have no voice in driving organisational change, and that 59% feel they lack empowerment to contribute to the organisation’s development, for example, by providing sales referrals or suggestions to improve efficiency.
Paul Shoker, CEO, Beyond360, says:
‘There are many software applications that offer a variety of ways to engage employees. These include workplace feedback, ways to provide ideas, mediums to offer coaching and development and ways to improve employee wellbeing. The sporadic nature of this approach to maximising human capital wastes time and resources, and now organisations can streamline business processes and enrich the user experience for employees all via one online portal. This is achieved through the utilisation of artificial intelligence and the implementation of gamification principles. Employers and employees can access the platform from multiple devices which means they can bridge the engagement gap from wherever they are working.’
