Advice on conducting equal pay reviews
Most employers believe that their reward systems are free of sex bias, but few have undertaken equal pay audits. A recent issue of People Management magazine features a simple three-stage model to help you establish whether you have a pay gap in your organisation.
The checklist, drawn up by Lorraine Paddison, managing director of TMS equality and diversity consultancy (www.tms.uk.com), can be used to analyse pay by ethnicity and disability, as well as gender.
